The Black Spot of Nappi

Yes, under the cover name of Nappi I am one of the better assassins of Oxford. Thus far I have never been killed and have never been declared a criminal. This page contains some of the methods I have developed for removing my targets and a brief discription of Nappi, the character I have chosen to model my killing powers on.

Extracts from Police file #346-RTF-M01

Name - Nappi, true indentity unknown
Whereabouts - Unknown at present, believed to be in residence somewhere in Beersheba
Trademark - A Black spot is sent to all of his victims before they are killed
Known Victims - <names withheld to protect living relatives>
Age - 18->19
Height - Average
Physical Description - Reports from the latest crime scene indicate that a shady character was seen 'casing the joint' at Cardinal College for a few days before the incident, witnesses report that he rode a yellow, slightly rusted bicycle, wore grey gloves and a red fleece. There are also reports that he wears glasses but these are unconfirmed at the present time.
Other than these very sketchy detials very little is known by this force of the assassin calling himself 'Nappi'. We belive that he begun his training with the so called 'Aldbrickham Conspiracy' group of undesirables and his highly technical methods of killing hint at a scientific mind. We are in no doubt that this is a dangerous man, he is calm under intense pressure and is yet to make the unguarded error we require if we are to catch him before he is able to claim more victims. We advise all the citizens of Christminster to keep their guard up and remain vigilant.

My Methods

These are the ways I like to get people, they don't always work but they are mostly inventive and likely to get extra points for general brilliance

The Cake

This is one of my stranger methods of death. A specially prepared cake is placed in the victim's letterbox or in front of their door. The cake should have "Eat Me" drawn on top of it, using raisons. A black spot should be placed under the cake on the plate and beneath the plate in their letterbox, just to make sure they get the idea. The cake should not be poisoned, if it was, you would be lying by saying, "eat me". Instead, poison is applied to the bottom rim of the plate, causing your victim a nasty surprise.

The Bomb - Part One

I like two types of bomb, both should be as big as possible (our game is limited to a five-meter blast radius, requiring a shoebox-sized device). The first type uses a micro switch triggering device and should be set up then left in place for your victim to find at some later time. A micro switch is placed on the outside of the bomb, wired in a 'normally closed' configuration. The bomb is then placed against a door so that the switch is pushed against the door and is thus in the 'off' position. When your victim opens their door, the bomb goes off and they die.

The Bomb - Part Two

The second form for bomb I like to use is much more useful if you know who your target is and which routes they usually follow during the course of their day. I was about to plant one of these outside the ice-rink but my target heard I was on to him and left the game the day before I activated my plan, not fair really. Anyway, this device requires only a large cardboard box, a mobile phone and either a pager or another mobile phone. If you open enough bank accounts you will soon be able to obtain these useful items. Simply place the pager/second phone inside the box, place the box somewhere in the targets path and find somewhere to hide and observe. When in range, just 'phone the box then pick up the pieces. This method does have disadvantages in that if a large bomb is used you might also take out some foreign tourists or other innocents but who cares, I definitely don't.

The Black Spot

This is just another version of the old poisoned letter trick. I like to print my envelopes so that the target is less suspicious and use fairy liquid derived poison as it tends not to leak from the envelope and kill postal workers. It should also contain a black spot and a little note. This also has its downside in that it relies on the target honestly reporting his death to the umpire and it is very easy to avoid if gloves are worn when opening the envelope. It is most useful because it doesn't require a long hike into town to get your target.

The Steely Knife

"I think knives are a good idea, big, fuck off, shiny ones...Guns for show, knives for a pro." Well, they are easy to conceal, can be made from the back of a pad of paper and they won't leak all over my lecture notes, never a bad thing.

I do emplay other methods of death from time to time as well, but I can't let you have all of my secrets can I.

Why did I chose Nappi?

There are secrets that man was not meant to know, this is one of them, as is the identity of the thirf man from the left on the night of the seventeenth
